Project overview
A system of symbols is used to document and represent the interactions within the studio. These marks track not only physical activity but also how the energy of the space evolves over time, whether in dialogue or silent collaboration.
Challenges
Studio space is observed as a living environment shaped by sound. Depending on the time of day and who is present, the studio generates a shifting soundscape.
Results
Each sound is translated into an abstract visual form, capturing the unseen rhythm of the space. The density of these shapes correlates with the volume of the sound: louder noises produce heavier, denser forms, while softer sounds are rendered with lighter, more dispersed visual marks.
